چکیده
This paper proposes an adaptive sliding mode observer (ASMO)-based approach for wind turbines subject to simultaneous faults in sensors and actuators. The proposed enables the detection of actuator sensor without need any redundant hardware components. Additionally, speed variations are considered as unknown disturbances, thus eliminating accurate measurement or estimation. ASMO estimation reconstruction descriptor states disturbances. design implements principle separation enable use nominal controller during faulty conditions. Fault tolerance is achieved by implementing a signal correction scheme recover behavior. performance validated using 4.8 MW turbine benchmark model various faults. Monte-Carlo analysis also carried out further evaluate reliability robustness presence errors. Simplicity, ease implementation decoupling property among positive features approach.

Observer Based Detection of Sensor Faults In Wind Turbines
An observer based scheme is proposed to detect sensor faults in wind turbines. In the example used for the proposed scheme the wind turbine drive train is considered. A model of the drive train is used to design the observer, and in this model the wind speed is an important input, however, if an unknown input observer the fault detection scheme can be non dependent on the actual wind speed. The...
متن کاملReconstruction of simultaneous actuator and sensor faults for the RECONFIGURE benchmark using a sliding mode observer ⋆
This paper considers the problem of reconstructing, simultaneously occurring actuator and sensor faults in a nonlinear system. The theory which will be developed in this paper is based on a sliding mode observer formulation, designed around an LPV model approximation of the nonlinear system. It extends previous work which has independently considered actuator and sensor faults reconstruction. H...
متن کاملDesign of Sliding mode control for stochastic systems subject to packet losses
In this paper, we examine the design of a sliding mode control for stochastic systems with data packet losses. It is assumed that there is a network connection in the system's feedback loop and that part of the information may be lost during transmission. The innovation of this paper is to peresent a new method with better performance In this paper, we first consider an estimated method to com...
متن کاملAn H∞ Sliding Mode Observer for Takagi-Sugeno Nonlinear Systems with Simultaneous Actuator and Sensor Faults
This paper considers the problem of robust reconstruction of simultaneous actuator and sensor faults for a class of uncertain Takagi–Sugeno nonlinear systems with unmeasurable premise variables. The proposed fault reconstruction and estimation design method with H∞ performance is used to reconstruct both actuator and sensor faults when the latter are transformed into pseudo-actuator faults by i...
متن کاملA Current-Based Output Feedback Sliding Mode Control for Speed Sensorless Induction Machine Drive Using Adaptive Sliding Mode Flux Observer
This paper presents a new adaptive Sliding-Mode flux observer for speed sensorless and rotor flux control of three-phase induction motor (IM) drives. The motor drive is supplied by a three-level space vector modulation (SVM) inverter. Considering the three-phase IM Equations in a stator stationary two axis reference frame, using the partial feedback linearization control and Sliding-Mode (SM) c...
